As technology evolves, some tools not only grow very outdated but they also become security and operational risks. The content management system (CMS) that your website runs on is an example of one of those outdated technologies.
The backend of your website runs on a platform called mojoPortal. As you know, this platform provides you basic CMS functionality including pages with a menu structure, calendar events that can repeat, and basic file upload storage.
In its day, mojoPortal was a leading CMS and our team was able to customize it for clients as needed. However, around 2016, mojoPortal stopped evolving as updates to the core platform ceased. Today, this platform is completely outdated.
Since 2017, VC3 has used Drupal-a much more established, robust CMS platform-to build websites, redesign websites, and accommodate any custom website requests that a client wants. Drupal is robust, stable, secure, modern, and evolving. mojoPortal isn't. While we've been able to support mojoPortal clients for a while, most have transitioned to Drupal or other CMS platforms.
As a result of the increasing inability to effectively support mojoPortal, we are retiring this platform with our clients. You will need to begin planning a switch to Drupal or another platform as your CMS.
